Amplifier Squad Meeting 5

Momentum is building across The Hills Shire as the Zero DFV gains greater visibility.

Thank you again to everyone who joined last week’s Amplifier Squad meeting. It was a really positive and encouraging session, with great energy and a strong sense of shared commitment to building awareness and momentum across our community.

We were delighted to officially welcome Kirsty to the team in her community engagement role. It was lovely for members to hear more about her background and passion for grassroots change, and we are very excited to have her helping lead this work moving forward.

During the meeting, Kirrily shared early results from the recent "You Already Are" campaign, which reached more than 15,000 people across The Hills and generated strong engagement and website traffic. It was encouraging to see the positive messaging resonate across a broad audience, reinforcing that small actions can make a meaningful difference.

We also introduced the idea of monthly themes to help guide and strengthen our shared messaging. The current focus is on the idea that big change comes from small actions, supported by the 30-Second Action video series. Kirsty also shared plans for a dedicated Amplifier Squad resource hub, which will make it easier for members to access and share social content, newsletter copy and other helpful materials.

There was a thoughtful discussion about how to introduce these conversations in different community settings, particularly in ways that feel positive, practical and engaging. It was a great reminder of the experience, care and insight this group brings to the work.

Thank you again for your continued support, ideas and willingness to amplify this message in your own networks.
